This handbook has been produced to help to introduce you to the work of Connected Together CIC (CTCIC) and the organisations it manages, including Healthwatch West Northamptonshire (HWW) and Healthwatch Rutland (HWR).

The Connected Together DBS policy covers staff and volunteers across all Connected Together CIC (CTCIC) subsidiaries and contracts.

In general, the staff records (including those of volunteers) should be retained for 6 years after the end of employment, but need only contain sufficient information in order to provide a reference (e.g. training and disciplinary records).

Individuals and organisations have the right to express their views about the performance of Connected Together CIC. Anyone who is dissatisfied with any aspects of the service received by CTCIC can make a complaint under this policy.

The purpose of this policy and procedure document is to ensure that Healthwatch (HW) staff, volunteers and external stakeholders are clear when, where and how Enter and View is carried out.

The purpose of this policy is to ensure Connected Together CIC and all its organisations/contracts, for example HWNW and HWR, have a clear process for managing media relations which staff, board members and volunteers all understand and comply with.

Connected Together (CTCIC) is committed to the health, safety and welfare of employees as defined in all current legislation and relevant codes of practice and guidance applicable to the services we provide.

Occasionally issues can arise when someone is volunteering with us. It is important to have procedures in place to help deal with any issues before they become bigger problems

The purpose of this policy is to ensure that all ICT equipment used by Connected Together CIC, (from hereinafter referred to as CTCIC) and all contracts it holds is used effectively, safely, and legally

CTCIC recognises that under environmental legislation it has responsibility and accountability for its impacts on the environment created (both directly and indirectly) by our operations, services, and activities.
